Their Team

My teenager and the team sang in one of the practices for Sunday worship. Em2 s playing bass guitar which he used to, some were singers, the other is playing the flute (and he’s a one-foot guy because his left leg is not straight). The other one is playing the drums and it seems that they were enjoying their skills for the Lord.

Happy Mom’s Day 2012

Mothers did great for their children. They are working seven days a week, 24 hours a day. A good mother loves her family and provides an atmosphere where each member can find acceptance, security, and understanding. She is there when the children need a listening ear, a comforting word, a warm hug, or a loving touch on a fevered brow. And for the Christian mother, her greatest joy is in teaching her children to trust and to love Jesus as their Savior.

That kind of mother deserves to be honored – not just on one special day a year but everyday. And that recognition should involve more than words; it ought to be shown in respect, thoughtfulness, and loving deeds. This was taken from the Daily Bread.
Of all the earthly things God givesThere’s one above all othersIt is the precious, priceless gift

Of loving Christian mothers

Godly mothers not only bring you up
they bring you to God

17th Birthday

It’s kuya Em2′s birthday last May 9. We just bought the biggest pizza in town. It has 54 slices that costs less than a thousand. Some of the youth came and dine with us in the church. The cousins and friends came and gave him a little surprise. A friend came and brought the most favorite chocolate cake of Bobs. We all enjoyed and shared the food together. Em2 turned 17 and he’s excited to soar on high. While our kids are growing so we do, huhu!

The 17th Birthday

My teenager turned 17 yesterday. It was so memorable since we’re trapped in the middle of the city due to heavy rain and the water overflowed. We’re stocked and can’t go out of the city. I brought his brother AJ and wanted to visit La Salle University to inquire of the needed requirements before I enroll my teenager for college. It’s good that I was able to do it. At 4:30 in the afternoon AJ and I reached the university and the persons in charge were about to prepare to go.

At last, we’re able to go out after less than an hour of waiting. We proceeded to the university and ask his cousins to buy the huge pizza for a surprise on his birthday. His cousins and friend also prepared something for a surprise gift for him.

On CD’s

Have you heard about CD’s? CD stands for Certificates of Deposit not the cds that we normally use. It is a financial product that works just like savings account but with a different timetable. Just like having a savings account with interest within a given period. The CD buyer cannot withdraw the money anytime and it’s good because you cannot just get your money anytime but a buyer is forced to save it and wait for the exact time to withdraw. I thought it is the CD’s that my teenager is asking before in order to save his files. Now I know that not all the words that we knew would mean the same thing.

Do you know that there is the best cd rates available for your safety? You just need to put your money, wait for a specific period of time and withdraw it with interest. This sounds interesting, right? The longer the period, the higher the interest. I’m excited to buy a CD and avail this best cd rates. You just need to buy a CD, wait for an allotted time and you will gain a lot. I’m glad to know this and excited to prepare for my family’s future. I will also encourage my sister to buy a CD and avail of this best cd rates while it’s still available. She likes to have her own money savings. It’s easy and the money is safe. This best cd rates is the best in town, so why wait, try it now and enjoy the benefits later.

Joined the Singing Group

My teenager was still singing this time, maybe a year ago. Before he joined the band in the church. His cousin was still here in Bacolod and left to Cebu after passing the board exam for ECE (Electronic Computer Engineering).

But now, he’s learning fast and can play acoustic and bass guitar. He loved to play instrument he loved even inside the house or before sleeping.

This summer they had a very hectic schedule because they with his cousins had helped in two camps; the junior’s camp and the youth camp. They will be back tomorrow. Thank God for protection.

The Growing Man

Em-em our teenager has grown tall. When he was still a baby he won’t allow himself to go with others. He’s an aloof type of child and will always be with his Mama all the time. He would cry if he’s not on Mama’s lap.

When he grew up he learned many things about life, studies and mingle with others. When we’re in Thailand few years back we would ask him to go and join activities like playing guitar in the church we’re joining. At times we would send him to study mathematics the easy way – that’s why he could learn math so easily.

Now, he’s enjoying his skill in playing guitar either bass, electric or the normal guitar playing. We allowed and sent him join to any camps nearby and explore his being a teenager. Now he’s on his way to study in college. Whatever course he wants to take we will be supporting him. His younger brother AJ is following his footsteps and is proud to his older brother.

His Project

Kuya Em2 had an assignment last time. It looks like this. He spent time to look for this in the internet. He was so glad looking at this kind of picture. Although I had a hard time for printing but it has a better picture.

Sometimes parents need to push their children to keep on learning and aiming high. And one of these is to perform his assignments and review his lessons. At last, kuya is already preparing for college life. He learns many things in school like playing guitar, singing and making his classmates smile and at times laugh. He might be excited to be in college soon.
